Valencia College is addressing student hunger with its VCentials program, offering free nutritious food at campus locations. In response to a 2021 survey revealing that 40% of students were going hungry or skipping meals, the college has partnered with Florida Blue and Disney to expand food access. The program has already been visited over 60,000 times, providing essential support to students in need.
